The field instruments consist of Leitz Electronic Total Stations and Geodimeter Robotic equipment, just to name a few. Palm Top Computers are utilized for general traverse and location surveys. Electronic plane table for on site digital mapping consists of a Lap Top computer and accessories. An array of Trimble GPS receivers including dual frequency receivers are used for high precision geodetic control surveys. Trimble RTK units are used for fast location surveys. The Trimble Pathfinder Pro is used for wetland surveys and GIS applications. Transportation consists of several four-wheel drive units and 3 vans equipped for route, control, topographic, and construction layout surveys. Communications consists of two-way repeater linked radios as well as cellular and satellite phones. All traverse equipment is capable of night time observations.


Office equipment consist of more than a dozen computers, an Hewlett-Packard Design Jet 1050-c Color Plotter, digitizers, scanners and large media storage devices. In addition to basic CoGo and computer aided drafting we have the capability of generating automated contours, profiles, cross-sections, volumes, shaded slope maps, digital images and three dimensional surface models within an AutoCAD environment and ArcView GIS capabilities.
